SofTrack Tracks Workstation Logon and Logoffs

SofTrack includes a Windows® workstation agent that can be easily configured to track local workstation logon and logoff activities. This same agent can be used to track logon and logoff activities for terminal sessions.

SofTrack's unique Windows® workstation agent technology provides a low overhead mechanism to track your user logon activities. Data recorded includes:

  1. Local User Logon Name
  2. Logon Time
  3. Logoff Time
  4. Total Time Logged on
  5. Full LDAP Logon Name (if not a local name)
  6. Security Identifier (SID) of user logged on
  7. Workstation IP Address
  8. Remote IP and Workstation name if using Terminal Services
SofTrack's elegant approach is simple to set up and use.

How it works:

1. After installing SofTrack you open the Server Agent Options screen:

Audit and Control - Configuration Screen

And click on the option:

Track Workstation Logon Activity (including Terminal Server Sessions)

And click OK to save.

2. Load or Restart the SofTrack Windows® Workstation Agent at each intended workstation. You can use the SofTrack Push Console to easily and rapidly deploy this agent to your workstations.

3. SofTrack is now tracking local workstation logon and logoff activity.
